Happy New Year Everyone!
As we wrap up 2011 and head into 2012, I'm very excited to announce the final 2011 Chromie of the Month: Craig Long! In his profile, Craig writes " The best way to get help is to help someone else. That's what the Google Help Forum is all about." We couldn't agree more Craig!
In addition, I'm excited to announce our two newest TCs: Nayan and Daaaveeeee! Nayan started using Chrome because it has WebGL, is open Source, and is Chrome Fast; he joined the Chrome community in October 2010 and loved the spirit of the Chrome users, who helped him learn about the browser when he first started out. Daaaveeeee first started using Chrome in summer 2009, noting it's speed, security, and simple UI and joined the forum a year later, where he's helped other people love Chrome. Outside of the forum, he plays badminton (when it's warm enough!) and has completed 4 belts in the Tae Kwondo. Both Nayan and Daaaveeeee are Computer Science students.
Three cheers for Nayan, Daaaveeeee, and Craig and another three for the New Year! Jacky + The Chrome Team

Happy Holiday's everyone! With the holidays upon us, we've been busy little elves here at the Googleplex, rolling out Chrome 16, shaving off our mustaches from Movember, and just giving the Gift of Chrome!
With all the celebrating and activity, we are so happy to announce November (or Movember's?) Chromie of the Month: CTrexob! From being a super knowledgeable user to driving engaging and thoughtful discussion around browsers and Chrome, you rock CTrexob!

It's Thanksgiving in the States and even if you don't celebrate the holiday where you are, the Chrome Team wants to thank you for being such awesome Chromies! You guys are truly the best.
For those of you in the States, have you checked out the Thanksgiving Google Doodle? There are 12 Easter Eggs--have you guessed any of them yet? My favorite is the skiier:

Happy Thanksgiving! And thanks for being such great Chromies!

Say hello to our newest Chromie of the Month: Dingus! Dingus is one of the most frequent posters in our forum, jumping into threads often minutes after a user has posted and always following up with users after they respond back. How ever do you do it Dingus?
Here in Mountain View, the leaves are just starting to change, the air is getting a bit crisper, and delicious cider is starting to appear. So this month, I would like to raise a glass of fresh apple cider in celebration of Dingus, October's Chromie of the Month! WAHOO! |

I’m very excited to announce we have two wonderful users joining our TC program! Please join me in welcoming handsomeorlandoman and Stefan VD as your newest TCs. Handsomeorlandoman initially started using Chrome almost by accident when another family member downloaded it on his computer; a few years later, he’s excited about being a TC so he can better help Chrome users learn about Chrome’s less known features. When he’s not helping users in the forum, handsomeorlandoman also spends his time playing basketball and riding his bike. Stefan VD downloaded Chrome the day it launched, way back in 2008, and by 2009 he created his first extension for Chrome (Turn off the Lights). We’re thrilled to have both of them join us as TCs.
I’m also very excited to announce September’s Chromie of the Month! Daaaveeeee has been a great contributor to the Chrome Community, from being responsive to users to creating extremely detailed step by step instructions for users; Dingus pointed to his great explanation to a user on this thread about Facebook when Dingus nominated him for Chromie of the Month. Thanks for helping out our users Daaaveeee!
I’m sure by now most of you know that Angry Birds is in the Chrome Web Store, but have you seen the new Chrome/Angry Birds video?
The original makers of Angry Birds are the voices of the three birds being interviewed. Pretty. Cool. Stuff.
Please join me in congratulating handsomeorlandoman, Stefan VD, and Daaaveeeee!
Yours, in Chrome,
Jacky and the Chrome Team |

Hi Everyone,
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the Chromie of the Month! W00t!
Yes, that’s right, we’re relaunching our Chromie recognition program. We want to recognize the great work of the Chrome community and call attention to our rising superstars.
Also, we want your input: Has a particular user gone the extra mile to help you out? Have you seen a fellow Chromie spreading the positive Chrome love? Let us know!
Will there be fame and fortune for the Chromie of the Month? Why yes! We’ll be posting about the Chromie of the Month here in the Chrome Trophy Room and sending wealth that only Chrome can give: schwag.
Yours in Chrome, Jacky and the Chrome Team |
