Note that you may be invited to multiple days, in which case you get different participant IDs for each day. About thirty Googlers from around the world are looking forward to meet you at the Grand Hyatt in Amman, Jordan : Hussein Bin Ali St. Cancellations. Thousands of people have registered online. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to give a spot to everyone. Therefore if you can't make it, please click on the cancellation link in the email you have received to cancel your participation and allow the next person on the waiting list to be invited. Please note that you cannot transfer your invitation to someone else. Laptop. Prepare your laptop by installing all the necessary SDKs, code libraries, software and documentation e.g. ActivePython to have a Python environment running, the Google App Engine SDK, etc. Please do this before coming to the event, as Internet will probably not be available for participants due to bandwidth issues (please accept our apologies for that). We recommend that you bring a laptop so you can benefit from hands-on coding sessions. And we may have a coding competition during the day as well ! Remember to bring your electrical charger as well, and if you can use your own 3G key, all the better ! Agenda. As you will have noticed in the agenda, some sessions will run in parallel. In order to scope the size of the rooms, we would appreciate if you could tell us now in the form (link provided in your invitation email) which sessions you’d like to participate to. Don’t worry, you can still change your mind on the day of the event ! Please also note that we may still change some sessions. Print invitation. Print and take your invitation email with you if possible. Parking. There are no parking fees during G-Jordan at the hotel. Be on time ! We will start precisely at 9.45am (9.15am on day 3). We know that traffic can be tough, but it’s not every day that Google organises this event ;-) So please come at least 30 minutes early, and as early as 8.30am (8.15am on day 3) to allow time for finding a place to park (there are free parking places at the hotel) and getting registered. Lunch will be provided so you don’t need to prepare a lunch box ! Hoping to see you soon ! |
